There will be an Advent Quiet Day on Saturday 2nd December, to help us prepare for the beginning of the holy season of Advent.
A quiet day allows us to take time out from he hurly-burly of day-to-day life and spend time in prayer and recollection. Our Quiet Day will be led by Fr Bill Scott, former sub-dean of the Chapel Royal, and will last from 12 noon until 3.30 pm.
We will begin with Mass at 12 noon with an address from Fr Bill. This will be followed by a lunch together. After lunch, we will have a further talk from Fr Bill, which will then lead into a holy hour, finishing with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at 3.30 pm.
For further details about the day read this post from Fr Nigel.
