St Benet’s was cleared of chairs on Saturday November 15th for the extravaganza of our annual parish Barn Dance and supper.
It was particularly good to see a larger number of children and families at the event this year. Our band were terrific and helped us all learn the steps with their caller. We began at 6pm, had an hour and a half of dancing. We then had a break for a splendid hot supper, and then finished with another hour or so of dancing.
A record total of around £800 was raised to support the life of the church.
