Join us tonight as our Lent discussion group tackles the question of how our Christian faith effects the ways in which we welcome, form and educate our young.
To help us examine our topic, we will be joined by two guest speakers, with many years’ experience in the realm of teaching and the catechesis of the young. Clare Fall is the Assistant Head and RE coordinator at Kentish Town CE School. Lynn Trigg is the Headteacher at St Michael’s CE Primary School in Camden Town. We look forward to hearing what they have to say and to thinking about questions such as:
How do we communicate the gospel to children? How do youngsters worship best? What are we doing well in our parish when it comes to children’s ministries…and what could we do better? How do I get my child into a Church of England Primary School? What’s different about the education a child receives in a church school? Do children understand the gospel better than adults sometimes? What does it mean to enter the Kingdom of God like a child? What can adults learn from children in their own Christian discipleship?
Tonight: 7 pm Said Mass; 7.30 pm Discussion in the Vicarage (The Church House, Ospringe Road); finish by 8.45 pm.
