Congratulations Tom, Wiliam, and Caroline!

October 3, 2020 by Guy Willis

Caroline, our former children’s worker.

Our congratulations, best wishes, and prayers go to Tom Crowley, William Hamilton Box, and Caroline Rink, all of whom have worked in our parish and who are being ordained to the priesthood around this time.

William and Tom were both pastoral assistants and spent a year working in our parish as part of the North London Pastoral Assistants Scheme.

William was ordained priest last weekend by the Bishop of Fulham, and Tom will be ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Chichester this afternoon (3rd Oct).

Caroline spent several years as our children’s worker, and worked jointly in our parish and the Parish of Old St Pancras. She will be ordained to the priesthood by the Bishop of Edmonton next Saturday (10th Oct).

COVID has meant all of these ordinations have had to be postponed from the summer. We realise this will have been a great frustration for Tom, William, and Caroline, but are so glad to see their day of ordination has finally arrived.

We have said Mass for them all at St Benet’s and wish them every blessing! We pray God will bestow on them the graces they need for their new ministries in Christ’s Church, and fill them with his Holy Spirit.

We are so pleased to see Caroline, Tom, and William respond to God’s call to ministry in their lives and are proud that our parish and the North London Pastoral Assistants Scheme have been able to play a part in their vocational journey. Ad multos annos!
