Our parish and school owe James Farmer a great debt of thanks. He has heroically served as our parish’s treasurer and as a governor of Kentish Town CE Primary School for many years. He has decided now is the right time to stand down from both positions to allow others a chance to exercise those roles.
James has presided over a significant renewal and expansion of our parish finances. We have, for example, under his careful stewardship been able to triple our contribution to the Diocese of London in Common Fund.
He was also instrumental in masterminding our school’s recent acquisition of solar panels which are now working and providing the building with free electricity.
Last Sunday we gave him a round of applause, and presented him with a bottle of champagne as a token of our thanks. Many thank indeed, James, for all you have done for our church and school!
