In comparing the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed – the smallest of all seeds – Jesus explains the importance of our faith. Whilst we may seem to be just a single person of little importance as followers of him we are in fact part of something with cosmic consequences: the bringing in of God’s Kingdom.
