We begin a series of readings from the sixth chapter of St John’s Gospel; the so called ‘bread of life’ discourses. In this week, the first excerpt, the miracle of the feeding of the 5000 is related. In it we find a truth about the abudance of sustenance tha we can find in the Blessed Sacrament – the bread of life that is made holy for us at each mass. You can find the readings for this coming Sunday here. |
