Parish News: Eighteenth Sunday and Week of the Year

Sorry that you didn’t receive a Parish email last week – I clicked the wrong button. It’s a good reminder that nothing in this world is perfect. That’s true of food too; it fills us up for a while but eventually it runs out or perishes and we need to eat again. That’s why Jesus tells us to put the mass at the center of our lives, because it is of God and not of Man: Do not work for food that cannot last, but work for food that endures to eternal life.
