Christ challenges his disciples conversation about ‘which of them is the greatest’ by shifiting their attention to those who need their care. He warns them to welcome little children in his name, for by doing so they will be welcoming him. By this he shows that it is amongst those who have the least power that God first chooses to dwell: the last shall be first. You can find the readings for this coming Sunday here.
