Parish News: Third Sunday and Week of Easter

On the road to Emmaus, two of Jesus’s followers speak with him without recognising him at first. It is easy for us, like them, to be so caught up in our own concerns that we fail to see what is before us. Let us ask God to help us see clearly in every situation.

Father Georges Iskandar is to be ordained to the sacred Priesthood by our bishop Jonathan at 5pm on Sunday 28th June at Saint Andrew Holborn, EC4A 3AF. He will celebrate a Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving on Monday 29th June at 7pm here at St Benets. Please pray for him now as he prepares and put theses dates in your diary.

On Sunday 5th July Jonathan our bishop will be here to celebrate mass for us on the Sunday of St Benedict. At that mass Baptism and Confirmation will be offered. If this is something you would like to explore for you or your children, please speak to Father Guy or Father Georges.
