The residents of Ash Court received their communion for Christmas today.
A service of Holy Communion takes place there at least once a month. Ash Court is a residential nursing home for the elderly and infirm which lies only a few streets away from St Benet’s.
We sang a few carols together, heard the scriptures, made intercession for the world, and then the residents who wished to do so received communion from the reserved sacrament, which had be brought to them. We pray for all the residents of Ash Court, their families and friends, and wish them a happy and blessed Christmas.
