David Beckham visits Kentish Town CE Primary School

November 29, 2017 by Guy Willis

To celebrate World Children’s Day on Monday 20th November, David Beckham recently visited our parish school, Kentish Town CE Primary School, in his role as a UNICEF ambassador.

Rights Respecting School

Kentish Town School is a recipient of the Rights Respecting Schools Award. This is an initiative run by UNICEF UK, which encourages schools to place the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) at the heart of its ethos and curriculum.

David Beckham met with our Rights Respecting pupil council, played football with them, and signed autographs. The day’s events were covered by the BBC One Show.

More details and photos can be found on the Kentish Town Primary School website, and on the UNICEF website.
