New Sunday morning art project for our older children

On Sunday 5th November, we begin a new Sunday School art project aimed at our older children in Key Stage 2 (over the age of 6/7) which will extend over the next four weeks. Lily Smith, a trained practitioner in art therapy, will be leading our children in the creation of a major new art project which will enable them to explore some of the “Big Questions” of life in the context of their Christian faith.

This art project will take place each Sunday morning in the time allotted for Sunday School for the next four Sundays – i.e. 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th November. It would be good if those taking part in the project could make a particular effort to be present for each week of November. Participants are welcome to go straight to our parish hall at 11 am to find Lily there; they will then join the Parish Mass at Communion with the rest of the Sunday School
