Mass this Remembrance Sunday begins with a minute’s silence. We shall then celebrate a Sung Mass of Requiem, praying particularly for all those who have lost their lives in conflict. And as we commemorate the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for their earthly homeland, we look to the hope of our heavenly homeland to which all the baptised are called, where there is no human division but only the supreme and everlasting peace of God.
