Parish News: Palm Sunday & Holy Week

This Sunday we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, as he enters the Holy City of Jerusalem to fufil his destiny for the savlation of the whole world. On Thursday evening we will be at the Last Supper with his disciples as he celebrates the first Mass and on Friday we go the the Cross with him, where he will give himself up for us all.

There is a full programme this Holy Week, much of it enriched by beautiful choral music. It is particularly worth making time to come to the special services in the three days before Easter.

Palm Sunday 10th April at 6pm we will have a service of Music and Readings for Holy Week. This is a joint service with St Mary, Brookfield (with their choir) and All Hallows, Gospel Oak. There will be beautiful music sung by the choir, readings from scripture and it will conclude with Benediction and be followed by refreshments. Like a carol service, but for Holy Week! Do please come and support this; it would be a good opportunity to bring someone who doesn’t usually go to church.
