Parish News: Remembrance Sunday and the 32nd Week of the Year

November 10, 2023 by Guy Willis

On Remembrance Sunday we offer mass for all those who have died in war and we ask that God would receive them with mercy into his eternal peace, giving thanks for those who sacrificed their freedom for ours. We also have an opportunity to reflect on both historical and ongoing conflict in the world. By this act of remembering we begin to become peacemakers for the future.

You can donate using card online to support St Benet’s: every penny counts! You can also donate by cash or card in person, by texting BENET followed by your donation amount to 70450 to give that amount. Or why not set up a regular standing order with your bank?

(The readings for this Sunday are not available online)

Please pray for:
The sick and those in need
Brenda, Conor, Chinye, Victor, Mercy, Olga, John, Cordelia, Lolita, Ben, Evelyn and Sidoni.
The Faithful departed
