Parish News: The First Sunday and Week of Advent

Advent begins this Sunday; Sung Mass and Sunday School at 11am and our Advent Choral Carols by Candlelight at 6pm, for which our choir will be singing a beautiful selection of music to help us prepare for Christmas. Followed by drinks.

St Benet’s is self supporting: we receive no regular central church or government funding, so you can donate using card online to support St Benet’s: and every penny really does count! You can also donate by cash or card in person, by texting BENET followed by your donation amount to 70450 to give that amount. Or why not set up a regular standing order with your bank?

The faithful departed
All who have worshipped in and served at Saint Benet’s, the recently departed, amongst them Barbara Webb, and those whose year’s mind falls this week amongst them Anthony Yates, Priest (1st).

The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception falls on Monday 9th this year. Mass at noon at St Benets and Solemn Mass at 7.30pm at St Silas, NW5 2QP.
