This coming Sunday is the last before Lent, after which Ash Wednesday falls on the 5th of March. Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent, a day of fasting and absitnence, and a day when all Christians should go to mass. At St Benets there will be said mass at 8.30am and 12 noon and sung mass with choir at 7pm, all with imposition of ashes. The readings for this Sunday are available here.
