Healing and faith are often connected in the public ministry of Jesus. In the Gospel set for this week it is only the ‘foreigner’ – the Samaritan – who gives thanks for his healing from Leprosy. In part this is to show that the most important thing is not which family we are born into on this earth, but whether or not we recognise the true Father of all: God himself. The readings for this coming Sunday are available here. |
