The feast of Christ the King is all about recognising the sovereignty of God over us and all his creation. Earthly powers seem formidable but they do not last forever; history shows this to be true. We are encouraged to invite the universal and everlasting king, Jesus Christ, to be king of our lives too. The readings for this Sunday are available here.
