Parish News: Sixth Sunday and Week of Easter

As Jesus begins to prepare the disciples for his Ascension he promises them that they will receive the Holy Spirit and that he will also remain present with them. We are heirs to this promise as we know God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit through his Sacraments, his Scriptures and his Church. We are not alone.

Father Georges Iskandar is to be ordained  to the sacred Priesthood by our bishop Jonathan at 5pm on Sunday 28th June at Saint Andrew Holborn, EC4A 3AF. He will celebrate a Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving on Monday 29th June at 7pm here at St Benets. Please pray for him now as he prepares and put theses dates in you diary.

On Sunday 5th July Jonathan our bishop will be here to celebrate mass for us on the Sunday of St Benedict. At that mass Baptism and Confirmation will be offered. If this is something you would like to explore for you or your children, please speak to Father Guy or Father Georges.
