Baptism of adults & Confirmation

If you are an adult or a teenager and want to be baptised and/or confirmed, you must undertake a course of preparation. You are welcome to seek confirmation at any age from about 7 or 8 years upwards. This takes place over several months in order to give you a thorough grounding in knowledge of the Christian faith.

Our candidates for baptism and confirmation meet regularly and follow a course that explores a range of different ideas in the realm of Christian doctrine, the scriptures, the sacraments, Christian history, the demands of the Christian life, making a rule of life, and exploring different ways of praying.

To find out more, speak to the clergy after mass on Sunday.
