Parish News: Second Sunday and Week of Easter

Thomas, who does not believe until he sees Jesus risen, is often called ‘doubting Thomas,’ though he really is ‘believing Thomas’ – it is just that he wants to see for himself. Are we like him ready to believe, and looking for the signs that Jesus lives? Or are we yet more blessed “who have not seen and yet believe”?

Eastertide Fête. Saturday 29th April, 2pm to 4pm. Table top sale of homemade and unwanted new or nearly new items, with cakes and refreshments. All proceeds to parish funds. We need:
– volunteers to set up, serve and sell
– new or nearly new items for sale (homemade or unwanted)
– cakes baked
