Parish News: The Fourteenth Sunday and Week of the Year

The feast of Saint Benedict, our patron saint, falls this week. There are two masses: one on Tuesday 11th at 7pm followed by drinks, and one on Sunday 16th at 11am followed by a parish party. I’m deligthed that our Bishop, Jonathan, will be with us on both occasions. Both masses also feature our visiting choir singing beautiful music. Please make time to come along to one or both services (and parties!).

Our Patronal Festival is this coming week; on Tuesday 11th there is Mass at 7pm followed by drinks, on Sunday 16th Mass at 11am followed by a parish party. Both masses feature our visiting choir and beautiful music.

At the party on Sunday 16th July we need food and drink to share and volunteers to:
– Organise the Table Top Sale
– Offer face painting for children
– Supervise the bouncy castle

We are invited to join the people of St Silas, Kentish Town in celebrating their Patronal Festival, which falls in the middle of ours! First Vespers on Friday 14th July at 7.30pm and the Solemn Mass on 15th July at 3.00pm.
