In this Sunday’s Gospel, we hear about Saint Thomas, who does not believe until he sees Jesus risen. He is often called ‘doubting Thomas’, though he really is ‘believing Thomas’ – it is just that he wants to see for himself. Are we like him ready to believe, and looking for the signs that Jesus lives? Or are we yet more blessed “who have not seen and yet believe”? You can find the readings for this coming Sunday here. Do come and support Fr. James Elston, formerly Rector of Old St Pancras on Monday 8th April at 7pm when Jonathan our Bishop will Induct him as Vicar of All Hallows, Gospel Oak. All Hallows is in Savernake Road NW3 2JP, a short walk from Gospel Oak overground station and near the C11 bus route. On Sunday 14th July, Jonathan our Bishop will be here to celebrate the Sunday of St Benedict as part of our patronal festival. He will also baptise and confirm if there are candidates, both adults and children. Speak to Father Guy if you would like to explore this for you or your children. Preparation sessions will begin at the end of April.
