Without salt, our food would not taste of very much and before electricity and fridges, it was essential for preserving food too. Jesus calls those who follow him ‘salt of the earth’; what is revealed through him enhances our appreciation of reality and preserves our life for ever. The annual parish pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham will take place from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th June 2023.
