When Peter challenges the prophecy that Jesus must suffer, die and rise again he does so because he is unable to see beyond the present. He wants things to stay as they are, but all cannot be the same if God’s plan is to come to fruition. We should neither be attached to change nor stasis for their own sakes, but always desiring that God’s will be done. We are invited to: |
