In the parable Jesus tells today, it is the dishonest steward who is praised. This seems peculiar. But the message is in the contrast between the subject of the parable – money – and true spiritual riches from God. We are challenged to ask ourselves who our real master is, but also to use all the gifts we have received wisely. The readings for this coming Sunday are available here.
